New Milestone, New Logo, New Identity

With the integration between Global Compact Network Singapore (GCNS) and Singapore Business Federation (SBF) Sustainable Development Business Group in April 2016, the annual Summit will build on both GCNS and SBF’s sustainability efforts, which were held in commendation by the private sector.

The inaugural International Singapore Compact CSR Summit was held in 2009. Subsequently, with the rebranding of the organisation in 2015 to reflect our commitment to UNGC’s 10 principles pf responsible business, the Summit was renamed as the 2015 International CSR Summit by Global Compact Network Singapore.

In 2016, with collaboration being the emerging theme for progress on sustainability, Global Compact Network Singapore and the Social Innovation Park co-organised the CSR and Social Innovators Forum, which combined the fields of CSR and Social Innovation in one event.

In 2017, we rebranded our annual flagship summit to the Global Compact Network Singapore Summit.

The globe stand on the left of the logo represents the growing interest of companies in sustainability while the coloured speech bubble signifies discussions among diverse participants and speakers. The colour palette was also chosen with reference to the 17 SDGs.
